Force Yourself Into Action To Get Things Done
Sometimes you just have to get something done. Long term projects, tomorrow’s homework, dinner, chores, anything. Almost anyone would agree that these things need to get done eventually. The question is, how do you manage to get them done now? One solution, put yourself in a position where you simply have to complete the task. The idea is a simple one: if the task absolutely has to get done then you’re more likely to actually do it.

Fixing the Wordpress Rich Text Editor Disappearing Problem
Recently I had the Rich Text Editor on Wordpress disappear on me. I’ve seen many solutions, from editing files within WordPress to various editor plugins to editing offline to simply checking to see if I had magically unchecked the ‘Use Rich Text Editor’ box in my user profile among other ideas. There was also a slew of people saying that the Rich Text Editor is useless anyway so it’s not a big loss. None of these solutions worked for me. So I got a bit adventurous and found something that worked by looking right at the database tables in phpMyAdmin. See how after the jump below.
A Call For Writers
If you would like to get in on the ground floor and help write for the new Juggle Chainsaws, now would be a great time to do it. Juggle Chainsaws is looking for 2-3 people with good writing skills who are interested in making life easier in some way. Remember that easier is a very vague term, and I use it that way on purpose.

Welcome to the New Juggle Chainsaws
Welcome to version 3.0 of Juggle Chainsaws. After a bit of a mishap, I’m taking the opportunity to relaunch this as something new. So instead of reading about my boring life with randomly scattered tidbits of goodness, the point of Juggle Chainsaws is to help make your life easier.
The new site will be up by 3 March 2008. I expect to actually have it up before then, but I’m giving myself some technical difficulty time.
