Linux Cube Desktop Effect in Windows

How would all you Windows users like to have the eye catching cube effect that you get with Linux? How would you like to have the ability to have 4 different desktops with different icons and programs running on each?
Just as I thought. you’d love it right. Well now you can have it.

A relatively new program has been released called Deskspace 1.5.2. This program gives you four desktops all of which can have their own backgrounds, icons, and programs running. The people at OtakuSoftware did a good job of covering all of their bases. If you are on one of your desktops and an application on a separate desktop need some kind of assistance then it will give you a notification and if you want take you to that desktop. This is a great program if you have a very cluttered desktop or just want the ability to change the background at the touch of a key.

Now, Deskspace 1.5.2 does cost a little bit of money, but if you are willing to trade a few small extras, you can downgrade to Yodm(yet another desktop manager) 1.4 this is the free version of Deskspace. This program will keep you amused for hours, watching the cool cube effect, as well as keeping your desktop organized.

I’ll agree that getting Linux would solve at least 95% of the issues Windows users have. But sometimes it’s just not an option. Or I might want the cubed desktop without having to switch everything else that goes along with a switch to Linux.

Got something to say?
